About the Dayton Alumnae Panhellenic Association
The Dayton Alumnae Panhellenic Association is one of 290 Alumnae Panhellenic Associations in the
United States and Canada, supporting women's fraternities and sororities. Over the past decade DAPA has provided scholarships totaling nearly $90,000 to college women of the Greater Dayton area.
Selecting women that represent the "Cream of the crop" is the goal of the scholarship selection committee.
They review all complete applications submitted and select the most qualified. Many criteria are looked
at during this process including GPA, community involvement and participation in service efforts.
The candidates must also be an active or alumnae member of an NPC sorority or women's fraternity.
In 2010-11 DAPA was able to award a total of $4,800 in scholarships to Greek collegiate and alumnae women. The scholarships are presented at the Annual Style Show in the spring.
